Privacy
Updated October 9, 2026. Pocket Karts is operated by John Damon. This notice covers our website and private beta waitlist.
Your waitlist information
By selecting Join waitlist, you agree to receive Pocket Karts beta invitations and game updates. We store your email address, signup time, and the version and method of this signup permission. We also record your interest in the iPhone beta and any campaign labels in your link, such as the ad or campaign that brought you here. We use these details to manage the waitlist, contact you about Pocket Karts, and understand which campaigns bring interested players.
Signup does not send an automatic email or guarantee beta access or an invitation date.
Storage and website security
Vercel hosts this website and stores signup records in private Vercel Blob storage. We may export records to a private CSV to manage invitations and measure campaign results. Vercel also processes technical request information, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated signups. Cloudflare processes security signals such as your IP address, browser information, and connection characteristics to distinguish people from bots. We do not send your signup email to Turnstile. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Campaigns and page testing
Campaign labels from your first tagged visit are kept in your browser’s tab storage for that session. This preserves attribution if you visit this privacy page before signing up. These stored labels do not contain your email address.
When our homepage test is running, a random browser identifier, assigned image-and-headline combination, and assignment token are saved in local storage so returning visits see the same image. The assignment is valid for 30 days; clearing this website’s local storage removes it from your browser. Your email is not stored in this browser record.
The test privately stores a hashed browser identifier, the assigned image-and-headline combination, and assignment and expiry times. A successful signup can include that assignment so we can compare signup rates. Our experiment records do not include an IP address or browser fingerprint. The 30-day assignment limit does not automatically delete server records; those follow the retention policy below.
This website does not use Meta Pixel or Meta Conversions API. We do not send your email or signup events to Meta.
Your choices and retention
We retain signup and experiment records while the beta waitlist is active. You can request removal from the waitlist or deletion of your signup information at any time by emailing team@pocketkarts.com. Requests are handled manually, including removal from private exports. You can also contact us to request access to or correction of your information.
Future beta invitation and game update emails will include a way to unsubscribe. Joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to updates for other apps.
